i have 8000 incomplete charges because of this in the last week.

Hello

unsure your issue is still existing.I found out to have MQTT issues (misconfigured - so I disabled it) that where leading to incompleted charges - but it was clearly seenable in the logs.

Anyway, here is a script I designed with the help of chatgpt that helped me during several days to cleanup things, pending to find the root cause of my issues.

What is basically do

• either your specify charge IDs start/end and it will merge everything in between
• or let the magic occurs by running with "--auto-group" (by default it will merge all incomplete charges with less than 15 minutes start time gap in-between - you may use the "--gap-min" flag to change the gap detection) - this has been my favorite way to proceed :)

Should you have several Teslas in your database, the "--car-id" will help you to select the good one.
"--dry-run" can be run for a preliminary behavior check.
