Any chance on having something like a side panel that would scan all files and show all the highlights for easy findings similar to a vscode extension that exists?

Thanks so much for opening this discussion! I will look into this, but I am not optimistic right now.

It is not possible for Zed extensions to provide their own UI right now. There is still a way to achieve this in Zed, but I need to investigate it further to see if it is possible. There is something specific about this extension that complicates things.

I will comment more after I look into it.
