trying to figure out how to setState ON and OFF

I am trying to figure out how to change the powerSwitch state between ON and OFF, but unsure how. I am new to this.

I tried

But this did not work

You could try to set the state with a raw value instead of json.
Your topic should be like in your Screenshot:
g2vmqtt/...../powerSwitch/state
and you publish a raw value: ON
