Cursor shows up after every character -> Note destroyed

When I accidentally press an unknown hotkey, which I believe includes CTRL and SHIFT:
1 a cursor shows up after every character
2 obsidian hangs, switches to another note tab
3 when I switch back to the note with cursors, every character gets changed to random characters

I did not touch my keyboard at all when it happened, as this has happened before and wondered if whichever key I touch replaces every single character. This turned out to be false. It was just replaced with random characters.

I have a video recording of 2 and 3 but wasn't able to capture 1.
