at least in book_requirements.txt versions are obsolete and result in

ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement torch==2.0.1 (from versions: 2.2.0, 2.2.1, 2.2.2, 2.3.0, 2.3.1, 2.4.0, 2.4.1, 2.5.0, 2.5.1, 2.6.0)
ERROR: No matching distribution found for torch==2.0.1

Using Python3.9 works.

I tried with the latest version at the time of writing this (Python3.13) & hit lots of problems. Version 3.10 or 3.11 "may" work, but as the book uses Python3.8.1 I went for the nearest to the version as I could.
