Bug Description

When using short swipe customization and attempting to overwrite a default mapping, the new mapping is shown overlaid on top of the default instead of properly replacing it. In the example screenshot, I tried overwriting ~ and ` on the "q" key with "!" and "?" but as you can see, they are just overlaid on the top and the default mappings are still in the same spot. When testing the keyboard and using the short swipe, there is a chance that either character will print.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open CleverKeys
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap on "Customize Per-Key Actions" (Short Swipe Customization)
  4. Select a key to customize (e.g. "q")
  5. Choose a direction that already has a default mapping assignment (q > northwest is set to "~" by default)
  6. Assign a new mapping (e.g. "!") and save it.

The keyboard map now shows the new assignment overlaid on the old default (in the screenshot, see the "!" overlaid on top of the default "~" instead of properly replacing it).

Neural Configuration (if applicable)

Logs

Troubleshooting Steps

  • I have restarted the CleverKeys app
  • I have tried disabling and re-enabling the keyboard
  • I have checked if this happens with neural predictions disabled
  • I have tried clearing the app cache/data (if safe to do so)
