TryPost already has a brand profile for tone, voice, language, and colors, which is an excellent foundation for AI-assisted content creation. This feature request proposes expanding that into a fully featured Brand Knowledge Base where users can upload and manage the deeper business context that the AI copilot needs to generate truly on-brand, accurate, and commercially relevant content without the user having to re-explain their business every time they open the composer.
Summary
A workspace-level knowledge base where users upload product information, service descriptions, offers, FAQs, audience segments, approved claims, banned phrases, competitor positioning, and evergreen campaign materials. The AI copilot references this knowledge base automatically when drafting posts, replies, captions, and campaign content producing output that is contextually accurate and brand-consistent without requiring manual prompting every session.
Why This Matters
The quality ceiling of any AI content tool is determined by how much business context the AI has access to. Generic tone instructions produce generic content. A knowledge base that contains real product details, real offers, real audience pain points, and real brand rules produces content that could only belong to that one business. This significantly reduces editing time, improves consistency across team members, and makes the AI copilot a genuine productivity multiplier rather than a starting point that always needs heavy revision. Tools like Jasper and Copy.ai have built entire products around this concept and TryPost is already positioned to deliver it natively within its existing AI framework.
Proposed MVP
Upload documents, PDFs, and text snippets as knowledge sources
Define brand rules including approved claims, banned phrases, and tone guardrails
Add audience segments with pain points, goals, and preferred content formats
Campaign-level memory sets that can be activated for specific campaigns and deactivated when the campaign ends
AI copilot references the knowledge base automatically during post drafting and reply generation
Knowledge base entries can be tagged by platform, audience, or campaign for targeted retrieval
Usage log showing which knowledge base entries the AI referenced when generating a specific piece of content
