Describe the issue
Hey, I got stuck on an issue - when a person on our AD premises (Windows AD infrastructure) with Ubuntu 24.04 machine + ADsys and SSSD locks his pc after some time when he wants to relogin - it takes from 15-20 sec for it to happen. I had similar issues with logout/login but I tweaked sssd.conf longer resolve time with DNS and enumeration for user groups. But the Super+L relogin issue persists - I found a suggestion to tweak refresh.timer file for the service but It did nothing for me. When I turned off adsys authentification via pam or disabled it via sssd this fixes but I need those GPOs running.
Steps to reproduce it
- Login to Ubuntu machine with adsys and sssd with your domain user
- Super+L the PC and hold it for 10-20 mins (longer time)
- when you will relogin it will take a long time to sync adsys
