Summary
Hello,
This problem is rather interesting in that I'm not sure if it's the original documents or JustHireMe that causes the issue. Basically, whether a PDF, DOCX or TXT resume is uploaded, JustHireMe seems to incorrectly read the document structure as well as any work history dates, meaning In other words, it incorrectly interprets the date information (e.g. worked from this date to this date as shown below where two exact chronological jobs are specified. The first is the original, according to the resume, and the second is the JustHireMe version.
I should also mention that the JustHireMe rendered version's text and data is significantly reduced when it comes to the text that was present in the original resume.
SHOULD BE:

It is clear in the second image that the the dates are truncated and and cities removed!
JUSTHIREME VERSION:

I have yet to try a markdown file as I don't have one created though I am in the process of creating a dummy markdown resume version.
May I suggest that either prepared markdown templates are added, or a link to where some can be found or a pre-pdf markdown version of the resume is added so that any mistakes or additions can be done to the generated resume to fix any inconsistencies.
Steps to reproduce
- Open
- Run
- Add a resume (PDF, DOCX, TXT) or paste in the text
- that's all I did.
Expected behavior
A nicely formatted resume version that matches the original one added with experience and skills intact, not truncated or reduced.
Thank you,
MB
OS / app version
Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS / JustHireMe v1.0.42
