Install VisIt on Xubuntu 22

I tried to install VisIt in two ways:
1)

chmod +x visit-install3_4_1
sudo ./visit-install3_4_1 3.4.1 linux-x86_64 /home/erg/visit

./visit/visit-install3_4_1 3.4.1 linux-x86_64 /home/erg/visit

All files are installed, but when running the /home/erg/visit/bin/visit command, only the line Running: gui3.4.1 appears. The /home/erg/visit/bin/visit -debug 5 command does not add vlog files to the home directory.

What is the output of uname -m? Or, put another way, is your system x86_64?

I find Visit folder in directory /usr/local. I tried to run:

/usr/local/visit/bin/visit

but it printed only Running: gui3.4.1

I also installed qt 6.4.2 in system.

The results of visit -env look as expected. What about your own environment variables, do they containing any results with QT in the name?
Since you have visit installed in both /usr/local and /home/erg I suggest deleting one of them (rm -rf /usr/local/visit) and then try running the other again.

I deleted /home/erg/visit and try /usr/local/visit/bin/visit. Don't work.

I wonder if it is the QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=gtk that is causing problems with the gui.
Try env QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=xcb /usr/local/visit/bin/visit
