Applications open to a frozen screen

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read!

I have successfully installed winapps on CachyOS and it has been working fine for 2 months.
My FreeRDP vm works fine, I can open all my office apps from the vm, but when I try to launch an app via "winapps outlook-o365" or my desktop shortcut that does the same thing, it freezes. I have attached a screenshot.

Ive tried reinstalling winapps, messing with cfg flags, they always open to a frozen version of the windows 11 login background/splash.

FreeRDP Issue - Doing some digging, the 3.23 update messed up RAIL. Downgrade to 3.22 until 3.24 is released.
Everyone running the default cfg and does regular updates (Arch) will run into this.

Please add a note in the README about the minimum supported/required FreeRDP version.
I'm on Ubuntu 24.04, and the default apt install got me this:

ii  freerdp3-x11                                             3.5.1+dfsg1-0ubuntu1.6                           amd64        RDP client for Windows Terminal Services (X11 client)

I've spent the best part of yesterday and today troubleshooting because the only thing I could manage to get was that same "piece of the login screen" window instead of the actual application. Eventually, after finally finding this post, I went ahead and tried the FreeRDP nightly build, and with that, it worked immediately.
