It could be that users that prefer to use JS on the server side would prefer something else, like npm, but perhaps the other features that Algernon offers would be enticing enough to lure them in?

I don't really know about that but being able to run Typescript/NodeJS projects on this server without having to use external runtimes like Node or Deno might be an amazing options.
