#Open Street Map を利用して、新たに制作したコンテンツのクレジットとライセンスについて (Currentrly Japanese Only)
Open Street Map(OSM) の地理データを利用した新たなコンテンツ(地図)を公開するときの、クレジット表記やライセンス等について検討しました。
OSMの地理データから生成した(OSMの地理データをダウンロードしローカルで生成した)ある地域の地図画像に、オリジナルの写真やグラフィックなどを追加して、新たなコンテンツ(地図)を制作した場合を想定しています(注1)。公開には、ウェブだけでなく、印刷物の出版や展示も含みます。
これは、あるプロジェクトのために制作したドキュメントですが、他のプロジェクトでも利用できると考えられるため、共有します。
OSMのデータはOpen Database License (ODbL) v1.0が適用されており、このライセンス規定に沿って検討しました。

注1 ウェブサイト(openstreetmap.org)で表示される地図画像を利用する場合は、様子が違うようです。
"地図タイルを使用する場合は、地図製作が CC BY-SA としてライセンスされていることを明確にしなければなりません"、とされています(https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright)(CCLのバージョンは不明ですが)。ここでいう地図タイルとは、openstreetmap.orgで表示される地図画像のことと思われます(**地図製作**は、ここでは製作された地図と解釈しています)。openstreetmap.**jp**で表示される地図は、明示的にCC BY-SAでライセンスされています。これらを利用する際は、CC BY-SAに従えばOKでしょう(バージョンは不明ですが)。
つまり、ユーザがOSMの地図データから生成した地図と、ウェブサイト(openstreetmap.org)で表示される地図(ブラウザで表示された地図をスクリーンキャプチャしたものなど)は、異なるライセンスが用いられている、ということのようです。
なお、地図タイルの作成法やドキュメントはCC BY-SA(2.0)です。ややこしいですね。
##結論 OSMの地理データにもとづいて制作した地図には、以下を表示します(CC BY-SAを適用する場合)。
地図の名前 by 新たなコンテンツの制作者 and OpenStreetMap Contributors is licensed under a Creative Commons AttributionShareAlike 4.0 International License.

新たなコンテンツの制作者には、新たなコンテンツの制作者を書いてください。(YCAMの場合はYamaguchi Center for Arts and Media [YCAM]を。)
地図の名前は正式名称と入れ替えて下さい。
できればCC BYSAのロゴを添えた方がわかりやすくて良いかと思います。

###新たなコンテンツ(地図)について
今回制作した成果物である地図は、OpenStreetMapのデータベースの一部から生成した地図から派生した著作物です。
データベースの改変はしておらず、オリジナルのデータベースから生成された画像に改変を加えて地図画像を制作しています。
なので、ODbLでいうところの“Produced Work”にあたります。
“Produced Work” – a work (such as an image, audiovisual material, text, or sounds) resulting from using the whole or a Substantial part of the Contents (via a search or other query) from this Database, a Derivative Database, or this Database as part of a Collective Database.
3c. If I make something with OSM data, do I now have to apply your license to my whole work?
No. For example, if you have written a game or published an artistic map which includes OSM data, only the data is covered by the license. This is called a Produced Work.
However, if you make a database which includes OSM data and any additional information (including using information to decide on OSM features NOT to include in your database), then this would be classed as a "derivative database" and should be made available under the Open Database License as in 3b above.

This credit needs to appear in a place that is reasonable to the medium or means you are utilising. In other words, you should expect to credit OpenStreetMap in the same way and with the same prominence as would be expected by any other map supplier. Therefore:
● For a printed map, the credit should appear beside the map if that is where other such credits appear, and/or in the "acknowledgements" section of the publication (often at the start of a book or magazine).

#####手作りの地図の製作へのOSMデータ利用
A user should be able to produce a handmade map derived from OSM data and add additional elements, remove others, move things around so they look better (avoiding overlap etc) and style the map. The designer should not be forced to make the edited raw data available and it should be possible to license the resulting maps in any way that is preferred.
ユーザはOSMデータから派生した手作りの地図を製作し、付加的な要素を追加し、あるものを削除し、見栄えがよくなるように(重なりを避けるなど)いろいろなものを動かしたり、地図のスタイルを整えることが可能であるべきです。デザイナーは編集済みの生データを利用可能な状態にするように強制されるべきではなく、結果としての地図を自分の好きなようにライセンスできるべきです。
Q: If the person notices errors in the OSM street or POI data and corrects these in their image should they be required to offer that data back to the community? We suggest that they should and the easiest way might be to enter the data into OpenStreetMap during the process.
