To my way of thinking, commit messages are prose, not code. So I find it a bit annoying that apostrophes (single quotes) are automatically "paired" when use_autoclose is true.
Not sure if this is something you're interested in changing (in the relevant tree sitter grammar) but I'd put in a vote for changing it.
