Highlight package updates

is it easy to add configurable highlights if the package has newer version like:

[osiewicz]

That's fair, but also.. wouldn't that be quite noisy? I guess we could expose it via configuration or something.

I would really appreciate this feature. I think a configuration option to opt-in would be reasonable.
