Please leave the search box blank when selecting a block then press ctrl+h

When we select a block then press ctrl+H, the whole block's text enters into the Search box. But few people do replace in this way: they just define a selection and do replace within this selection.

Therefore I advise Do not put the text into the Search box when we select a block (or several lines) then press ctrl+H, just leave the search box blank. In this way we don't have to delete the text first then to enter the text we want to replace.

Uncheck "Copy Selection as Find Text" under "Settings -> Select and Edit Options":

Actually we want to keep this feature when selecting some text within a line. So we could not uncheck the option you refer.
