Build a Nanogang fleet, using the numbers for each role:
1>2>3>4
If you have 3 players:
1>2>3
If you have more than 4, sprinkle in other roles as needed, generally with DPS or Anti-Tackle first.
Once you start pushing past 7 or 8 pilots in fleet, you may get way over escalated on, or no fight at all.
When stocking ships for nanogang, try to grab one for each role so you can fill whatever is needed.
Hold down targets and driveby scram things that are a threat. Position yourself between enemy fleet and friendly fleet.
Your job is to make sure no frigs or destroyers have a chance to threaten your gang by forcing them off with your dps, or killing them.
Your job is to focus primaries. Generally, there may be 1 or 2 DPS ships in a nanogang fleet, so you decide the primaries.

Any SP requirements are estimation of what it would take to SIT IN the ship. You will likely need more sp to fly each ship adequately. Also, some ships are VERY tight on fitting. Training fitting skills is important.
