Installation

Option A: Steam Workshop (recommended)

1. Subscribe to the mod on Steam Workshop
2. Launch RimWorld
3. Go to Mods → enable RimWorld Bengali
4. Restart RimWorld when prompted

If you don’t see it in your list, restart Steam and RimWorld.

3. Copy the folder into your RimWorld Mods directory:

Install the Bengali font

RimWorld must be able to find Noto Sans Bengali as a system-installed font. The mod includes the font file, but you still need to install it into your operating system.

Primary method: install the bundled font

After installing the mod, find this file:

RimWorld/Mods/RimWorld-Bengali/Fonts/NotoSansBengali-Regular.ttf

Install it:

Windows

1. Double-click NotoSansBengali-Regular.ttf
2. Click Install
3. Restart RimWorld

Linux

1. Copy NotoSansBengali-Regular.ttf to:

   ~/.local/share/fonts/
   

2. Refresh the font cache:

   fc-cache -f -v
   

3. Restart RimWorld

macOS

1. Double-click NotoSansBengali-Regular.ttf

Enable Bengali in RimWorld

After the mod is enabled:

1. Go to Options
2. Find Language
3. Select Bengali
4. Restart RimWorld if asked

Load order

Typically:

• Core
• DLCs (if any)
• Other mods
• RimWorld Bengali

If another mod includes its own translation files, it may override parts of the Bengali text depending on load order.

“Text looks weird / missing characters”

• Install Noto Sans Bengali from the bundled file:
