# Weekly Dev meeting

# Notes
- Why was the Couchsurfing export feature closed?
* Can't verify the references in the export
* Don't have capacity to maintain
* Nick will talk to Jesse to get the context
- Dashboard - what changes do we want?
* Drop upcoming stays sections to bottom if empty. If no stays have events, discussions, communities up top
* Nicole will make a ticket for this
- Who is responsible for onboarding volunteers?
* Denis needs to step down due to new job
* A new person in the volunteer pipeline will be interviewed soon to help with this
- We need to decide on design for the bad email flow
* Kevin suggested a few ways in the ticket
* On confirm email screen and also signup screen, show email "your email is this. wrong email?" that was used so far and have "start again" button?
* Will work out details on Slack
- Went over Sunflower Drop deadline on board to clear and re-prioritize tickets
- Nicole: IMO next deadline should be for catching up, closing the 40+ open PRs, finishing half completed features, package upgrades, etc. as things are starting to stack up.

Awesome! Yeah this was mostly referring to next quarters goals. Someone asked what we should focus on for the next deadline and I said we have enough stuff in progress I think maybe best to take a quarter to catch up and finish things, address some tech debt, etc.

Obvi not just my decision but we can chat about it!

- Tristan created two new channels #incidents for when website is down, #whats-new for anyone to post when there's a new feature, merch, etc.

* What everyone's working on:
- Ran out of time, post your updates async in the meeting thread.
