Building apps, breaking labs, and learning fast

Full-stack developer and sysadmin from Quebec with a strong Linux-first mindset, a Debian daily driver, and a soft spot for self-hosting, automation, and Minecraft modding.

Main Stack

I mainly build in C#, Python, and Java, with Linux, ASP.NET, Vue, Bash, and homelab tooling rounding out the stack.

GitHub Snapshot

Top languages GitHub stats

My public repo language graph does not fully reflect my day-to-day work. Most of my current dev time goes into C#, Python, and Java.

What I Build

  • Full-stack apps with C#, Python, Java, ASP.NET, Vue, and modern web tooling
  • Minecraft modding and game-related experiments
  • Internal tools, utility scripts, and automation projects
  • Self-hosted services running on Proxmox, Linux VMs, and containers
  • Labs that start as "just testing something" and become permanent infrastructure

Sysadmin Side

  • Linux-first mindset with Debian as my current daily driver
  • Homelab administration across Proxmox, VMs, containers, networking, and self-hosted services
  • Windows infrastructure work on the side, including Active Directory and related admin tasks
  • Automation, maintenance, and troubleshooting across both Linux and Windows environments

Homelab Mode

My homelab is where I learn the most. I like deploying things myself, tuning them, breaking them, fixing them, and figuring out how far I can push a Linux-first setup while still keeping Windows services where they make sense.

  • Proxmox VE with multiple nodes, VMs, and LXCs
  • Reverse proxies, dashboards, and self-hosted apps
  • Media, game, and utility servers
  • Bash-driven automation and maintenance
  • Constant experiments because leaving things alone is not as fun
