Google login option doesn't work

This is a continuation of #105 which was closed by the reporter without resolution. I'm using Debian 13 (fresh install) with the v0.11.1 release deb. Trying to login with Google opens a browser window to login but this does not link back to the app.

Still google login didn't open any google form for me today.
