As a controversial belief, I am completely sure that we have not achieved AGI or anything close to it, as for that to be reality, We'd need to have achieved infinite compute, but as of now, eversince Marcus Hutter wroyte his theory on what AGI must look like from a scientific and grounded point of view, We have not surpassed finite compute for the last 26 years, and until that, we cannot surpass a finite reasoning loop, create supertasks, solve the halting problem, or even develop a proper Universal Intelligence.
