Installation guide. Installation time: 5 minutes This package includes the data and code needed to replicate all analyses. Add the code folder and subfolders to your Matlab path. Edit line 1 of analysis.m to set pathbase to the data folder. 3. Demo and instructions for use Run the sections within analysis.m sequentially. This perform all analyses and generate all figures in the manuscript. A handful of computations are time consuming. Pre-calculated outputs from these analyses are included in the data folder. Using these pre-calculated analyses, the entire analysis.m file runs in 20 minutes. The pre-calculated computations are calculation of entire spiking activity from raw voltages (calculation time: 4 hours) and decoding analysis (1 hour). The former can be sped up by using fewer cross-validation as described in the file.
