Pandoc had some changes since last this was edited so needed to update the variant and needed to add the `pandoc_args` to make sure that there were no extra line breaks in the `.md` file
Also updated the formatting to be closer to common style-guides, i.e. line length of 80 and preference on `"` instead of `'`
once the `.md` file was regenerated using the new `.Rmd` file

I've updated the
.Rmdfile to match the changes that have been made to the.mdfile. This has also highlighted an issue with the colour scales for certain charts, in particular when plotting thediamondsdataset, will look into what could be causing this as a separate branch.Future edits to the
README.mdshould ideally be made toREADME.Rmdand then have it regenerate the.mdfile.
