Protopia Garden is an attempt to substantially improve the structure of the endowment and close the gap between long-term thinking and short-term money. We redesign the endowment as digital and distributed — simultaneously supporting activities today and securing rights to the results of these activities over the long term.
Our solution is built on five interconnected engines:
- Endowment Platform — radical reduction of costs for standard processes
- Programmable Relationships — transforming endowment relationships into machine-readable objects
- Smart Contracts for Impact — formalized second layer above the support flow
- Utility Endowment / Digital Endowment Principal — rights to access digital infrastructure as part of the principal
- DAO Governance — distributed decision-making mechanisms
