Closes the 1-line patch-coverage gap Codecov flagged on #32 (comment): gitkeepLabel()'s fallback — a configured host.directory outside the project dir keeps its absolute path in the status line — had no test driving it.

New functional test configures host.directory to an absolute path outside the temp project dir and asserts the .gitkeep lands there and the status line reports the absolute path (whitespace-stripped assertion per the narrow-terminal gotcha; second temp dir cleaned in finally).

Test-only — no CHANGELOG entry.

Codecov flagged gitkeepLabel()'s fallback on PR #32: a host.directory
outside the project keeps its absolute path in the status line, but no
test drove that branch.
