Utopian Academy

Tools for live video, built by people who have had to make a show happen.

Deckboy

Open-source cue-based media playback and show control. Media is a playlist of cues with fades, loops and hold-last-frame, sent to dedicated fullscreen outputs — and the same machine speaks NDI, SRT, RTMP, Blackmagic SDI, SMPTE ST 2110 and Spout at the same time, so an NDI source can reach an SDI router and a stream at once.

Slide decks import as one cue per slide, with speaker notes, a presenter view and a mirrored teleprompter as output types of their own. Cues are driven from a Stream Deck, Bitfocus Companion, OSC, MIDI or LTC timecode.

Native C++ and SDL3 for Windows, macOS and Linux. GPL-3.0. No account, no licence server, nothing phones home.
