Want to run rippled in testnet mode?

You can! Here's how to configure your server to connect to the XRP Testnet.

1. In rippled.cfg, change the [ips] stanza:

[ips]
r.altnet.rippletest.net 51235

2. Replace validators.txt with the following:

[validator_list_sites]
https://vl.altnet.rippletest.net

[validator_list_keys]

Common Problems

Error: noNetwork

• In rippled.cfg, remove the [validators] and [validation_quorum] stanzas.

Unable to sync (server_state: "connected")

• When the server is stopped, delete the "peerfinder.sqlite" file.

Database problems / unable to sync

• Switch from rocksdb to nudb.
