Zolotkey's Collection of macOS Goodies

This repository contains a collection of scripts, Config Profiles, and RC files that enhance the macOS experience.

Scripts

• enableLowPowerMode: A script to enable low power mode on macOS.
• NFS: Workaround for NFS nested mount issues on macOS.
• slowNetwork: A script to slow down the network speed via DummyNet.
• startupMute: A script to mute the startup sound on macOS.
• TCP_Tuning: A script to tune TCP settings on macOS. I get ~110mb/s on file transfers with this.

Config Profiles

• MDM_logging.mobileconfig: A configuration profile to enable hidden MDM logging on macOS.
• ReduceCPUSpeed.mobileconfig: A configuration profile to reduce CPU speed. Useful for testing purposes.

Config Files

• zshrc: A Zsh configuration file with custom aliases and functions.
• logrc: A configuration file for log(1) predicates.
