Hardware Setup

This is the starting point before start working with the Solo12 robot (a.k.a. Nala)

Power Supply

In the lab we use the TDK-LAMBDA GEN1500W GEN60-25 PSU power supply.

Caution

Please read the section "GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION" from the User manual before using the power supply.

Prior checks, with the power supply off and the robot disconnected:

• Make sure all the cables are in good condition and without short circuit.
• The power supply is in a stable position on a table and there is not risk of dropping it.
• The emergency button is good condition. Check if you can press it and release it.

Procedure for use:

1. In the front panel, power on the power supply.
2. Press the button "PREV" and then turn the left knob to set the voltage at ~22V (equivalent to a 6S Li-Po battery nominal voltage), and set the max. current at 4 Amps (for just walking behavior).
3. To enable the output of the power supply press the button "OUT".
