Closing this one, on the written criterion rather than on impressions. Thank you for the disclosure, which was complete and volunteered the commercial side without being asked; that is more than most submissions do and it is why this is a decline with a reason rather than a silent close. The criterion it does not meet. CONTRIBUTING excludes "commercial products without a free tier, open-source component, or published specification".
Free to download is not the same as an open-source component. The templates are the product, licensed for internal use only, with redistribution prohibited. There is no open-source component and no published specification alongside them. The route back in is concrete. Relicense the seven template files under an actual open-source licence, MIT, Apache-2.0 or CC-BY are all fine for documents, and this becomes listable on its merits. The $19 browser publisher licence is not the obstacle; several listed entries are commercial. The obstacle is that the listed artifact itself carries no licence anyone can build on. Open a new PR pointing at the relicensed repository and I will review it on the same terms as anything else. One thing I would rather say than leave unsaid. This account was created on 30 August and now holds forks of twelve awesome lists: Submitting one entry to several relevant lists is ordinary. Forking twelve in a day reads as a distribution campaign rather than a contribution, and it is the context in which this list's maintainers will read any future submission from this account. I am telling you because it is actionable: a relicensed repository submitted to the lists where it genuinely fits will land better than the same entry submitted everywhere. |
Adds a free, locally editable AI governance template set to Industry Reports & Guidance. The branded repository includes seven Word and Excel templates for system inventory, vendor review, risk tracking, NIST AI RMF gap review, EU AI Act documentation, and workplace policy drafting. No account or upload is required.
Disclosure: BrandQuill maintains the linked project. BrandQuill also sells an optional $19 lifetime browser publisher license, but the linked repository and all seven listed templates are free.
