General Assembly Hackathon

Full Stack App built for our WDI Group Project

GA-Hackathon was built as a way for General Assembly students and alumni to come together for a weekend full of hacking in an environment that is comfortable and collaborative.

Users will be able to create a profile, create new ideas, upvote their favorite ideas and RSVP for hackathon events.

Future Development

Allow admins to create and edit hackathon events. Automate team assignments equally based on students selected class. Add the ability for ideas to contain multimedia.

Shiv: I chose this code because I have a hard time understanding the relationships when they are implemented into the app itself. The uniqueness is a nice touch because that ensures that that field has not been taken before.
