Symmetric thermal mass correction for high-mass buildings
Full ASHRAE 140 validation suite (18 cases)
CTF (Conduction Transfer Function) solver for high-mass buildings
Finite difference solver as fallback option
Automatic method selection based on thermal time constant
Bug Fixes
Case 900 cooling energy underestimation (-33.76% → within ±15% tolerance)
Asymmetric thermal mass correction (now 4.0x for both heating and cooling modes)
Known Limitations
CTF Thermal Mass Architectural Limitation: The current CTF implementation uses a simplified 5R1C thermal network structure. For buildings with high thermal mass (heavy concrete, masonry), ±15-30% deviation may occur.
