We built this abstraction a while ago but it doesn't really scale out since you have to keep adding types to it.
We've mostly settled on the GoDependency symbol APIs, such as SmithyGoDependency.SMITHY_MIDDLEWARE.struct("FinalizeMiddleware") where direct symbol instantiation is necessary.
This doesn't affect the codegen output at all, it's just toil work.
