Restores the change from #461. #461 was merged, then reverted from master (
9d002086) to park it — and GitHub does not allow reopening a merged PR, nor a new PR from the original branch (it shows "no commits" sincee5ade236is already in master history). This branch reapplies the exact change (reverts the revert).Content (same as #461):
