Updates the Canonical Academy Terms of Service markdown page under templates/legal/terms-and-policies/, aligning the published site copy with the updated source document referenced in the PR description.

Changes:

  • Refreshes the document metadata (update date + copydoc link) and rewrites/restructures the ToS sections.
  • Adds/expands terms around enterprise seat allocation, candidate onboarding, gating, forfeiture, and seat expiration.
  • Updates fees/payment, IP/content, personal data, liability, and governing law sections for the Academy ToS.

  • Minor grammar: "asked to enter ... and to confirm" is awkward; "asked to enter ... and confirm" reads more cleanly.
5.2 **Processing Methods:** You will be asked to enter your credit card details and to confirm your acceptance of these Terms. Fees are charged in the currency in which you make your purchase. Payment is handled by a third party and your credit card statement may identify payments as made to "Canonical" or "Stripe". You are responsible for any foreign transaction fees incurred by your bank. You must abide by any relevant terms and conditions or other legal agreement, whether with us or a third party, that governs your use of a given payment processing method. We may add or remove payment processing methods at our sole discretion and without notice to you.

  • Subject/verb agreement: "content ... are accessed" should be singular ("content ... is accessed").
7.2 **Copyrighted Content:** All materials provided as part of the Service are copyright of Canonical. All content provided by you or a third party are accessed at your sole discretion and risk.
