[bug] the flatpak doesn't respect my language settings #37

Description

@phoekjelle

The issue

I'm using Cosmic desktop, and have set the language to Dutch in Cosmic-settingsTime & LanguageLanguage & Region.

The flatpak is using the following units of measurement:

  • Temp.: Fahrenheit;
  • Time Format: 12-hour;
  • Pressure U.: hPa;
  • Wind speed: m/s.

Image

In the Netherlands, the default units of measurement are:

  • Temp.: Celsius;
  • Time Format: 24-hour;
  • Pressure U.: hPa;
  • Wind speed: Beaufort.

Also I have set the following system settings:

  • Time zone: Europe/Amsterdam;
  • I have set the global time format to 24-hour;

The request

  • please make the flatpak respect the set system language, if available;
  • please set the default predicted area to whatever time zone is set, if at all possible;
  • please let the time format setting follow the global setting;
  • please add the Beaufort wind speed unit to the application, if you want to, because m/s is a sane default.

Thank you!

Thank you as well for re-acting so quickly to my PRs and issues previously!
