Crater is an AI personal assistant built on top of email, that predicts what emails you want to read and what actions you want to take, before you think to do them. We believe that whilst developments in model training and compute infrastructure have made a future of cheap and abundant artificial intelligence seem inevitable, an absurdly underdeveloped amount of work has gone into interfaces that will serve, and steer these models.
We're still early days but very excited to see this product grow. We reject the belief that small groups of motivated individuals will become insignificant against the background of improving technology. To the contrary, we hope to enable small groups to be even more capable, creative and extraordinary in a post-AGI world. The crash report can contain sensitive information. The report doesn't purposely contain sensitive information, but it does contain the full stack memory of each thread at the time of the crash. This information is used to rebuild the stack trace but can also contain sensitive data depending on when the crash occurred.
