Overview

The serial number range can be configured to avoid conflicts (e.g. during migration). The range can be configured during installation (see Two-Step Installation) or after installation.

Configuration

To configure serial number range, edit the serial number configuration in /var/lib/pki/pki-tomcat/ca/conf/CS.cfg as needed (see CA Configuration):

dbs.beginSerialNumber=1
