Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v14 or higher)
• MongoDB
• npm or yarn

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/restaurant-booking.git
cd restaurant-booking

2. Install backend dependencies:

npm install

3. Install frontend dependencies:

cd client
npm install

4. Start MongoDB:

brew services start mongodb/brew/mongodb-community

5. Start the backend server:

npm run dev

6. Start the frontend development server:

cd client
npm start

The application will be available at:

• Frontend: http://localhost:3000
• Backend: http://localhost:5000

Contributing
