Thanks for the PR! There are several things to fix before proceeding:
I will try to look through the notebooks later. Note that since I am also developing in parallel, the main branch may be updated frequently. Rebase is probably the best approach to handle merge conflicts. |

This PR adds a new VDF_analysis.ipynb file to test the particle velocity distribution.
The notebook generates a 2D histogram of velocity space from particle data and fits it to a 2D Maxwellian distribution. This is intended for validating velocity-space behavior and sanity-checking simulation outputs.
