WhereMyTokens is an open-source Windows system tray app for monitoring Claude Code token usage in real time.

What it does

• Live session tracking — detects running Claude Code sessions across Terminal, VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, etc. with per-session state badges
• Rate limit bars — 5h and 1w usage from Anthropic's API, with progress bars and time-to-reset counters
• Claude Code statusLine integration — registers as a Claude Code plugin for live rate-limit data pushed via stdin, no polling required
• Context window progress — per-session compact warnings at 50% / 80% / 95%+
• Tool usage breakdown — proportional bar showing top tool calls (Bash, Edit, Read…) per session
• Activity heatmaps — 7-day heatmap, 5-month GitHub-style calendar, hourly distribution, 4-week bar chart
• Model breakdown — per-model token and cost totals
• Cost display — USD or KRW, with API-equivalent subscription value
