A Blender plugin for visualizing neurological MRI and fMRI scans. It uses the neurovolume library, which is currently in pre-release and does not support all .nii formats.
Run download_test_data.py to download the test dataset (optional). This is the default NIfTI file that appears in the Blender plugin. An fMRI dataset can be found in the "Dataset Citation" section below, if you wish to test that.
Install the Blender plugin using one of the following methods:
- With Jacques Lucke's vsCode extension for Blender (recommended)
- Via the Add-ons section
- Copy-pasting the add-on into Blender's Text-editor and then clicking the triangular "play" button to run.
To load a scan, paste the path into the NIfTI File field in the boldviz window and press Load VDB from NIfTI.
Add materials, render, and enjoy!
