Summary

  • Adaptive fundamentals diagnostic (keep going while correct, stop after 2 misses) seeds the capture chart instead of an 80% pass bar
  • Mastery wheel rebuilt with Apache ECharts SVG pie: layered track/progress/labels, larger desktop chart, and handbook-style hover (scale + shadow + tooltip + focus dimming)
  • Study/home copy and UX polish: Capture slices, Study what you need, reveal-first answer autopsy without duplicate “best” card, hide Reset until there is progress

Test plan

  • Fresh visit: gated home shows Find your starting point / See what I know; wheel labels Basics…Win; hover a slice → scales out, dims siblings, tooltip
  • Complete placement (2 misses or max): Starting point set → Back to the chart; slices unlock with Quiz me / Study this
  • Study this on a unit: situation → explanation → citation → option autopsy; no duplicate Strong move card; Fundamentals unit shows one Fundamentals badge
  • Desktop (~1280) and mobile (~390): chart readable, hover/tooltip usable, no console errors
  • Reset progress only appears after local progress exists

Made with Cursor

Seed progress with an adaptive diagnostic, render the mastery wheel in
ECharts with handbook-style hover emphasis, and tighten study/home copy.

Working tier is Core for every unlocked lifecycle unit at start, so the
label added no information. Keep it only once a unit reaches Advanced.

The Continue/Finish button already says what to do next.

Grow the Basics slice from a handful of cards to a FAR/govcon lexicon
a large-Prime capture teammate should know (NAICS, Alliant/SEWP/OASIS+,
IDIQ, OCI, CPARS, LPTA, etc.), and correct stale MPT/SAT figures.

Widen the quiz-end donut hub and drop the label to text-3xl so 100%
no longer collides with the conic-gradient rim.

Align the capture-slice title with the chart's Basics label, and avoid
reintroducing a redundant Fundamentals difficulty badge on that unit.

Keep adaptive "Q N" stable after answering, limit fundamentals gap
review to attempted misses, and expose the score percent to screen readers.
