[BUG] GitHub and Dockerhub package missing 12.0.0 tag

Current Behavior

For previous releases, linuxserver provided raw x.y.z tags on both the GitHub and Dockerhub packages:

For the Jellyfin 12.0 release, there is not a 12.0.0 tag which deviates from versioning in previous releases:

Expected Behavior

The latest release should also have a 12.0.0 tag.

The actual versioning comes from the ubuntu deb we install from the jellyfin repo. The latest stable version is 12.0ubu2604

What you're referring to is the pseudo semver tag we publish. It is a remnant of an unsuccessful experiment. It is unsupported, unpromoted and strongly recommended against. You can read more about it here: https://www.linuxserver.io/blog/docker-tags-so-many-tags-so-little-time#4-pseudo-semver-tag-dynamic The reason the tag is missing from the latest version is because our logic does not recognize 12.0xxxxxx as upstream semver whereas the old version of 10.11.11xxxxx was recognized due to 2 decimal points.

I'm glad you pointed this out as I was unaware of that guidance. I will update my stack and close this as it doesn't seem valid given the context you provided.
