Postdoctoral Researcher in Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence Group · Wageningen University & Research · 🇳🇱 Netherlands
I work at the intersection of Self-Supervised Learning (SSL) and Explainability, developing training paradigms that learn from large-scale unlabeled data while remaining interpretable.
My current focus areas:
- 🛰️ Remote Sensing & Earth Observation — representation learning for multispectral and spatiotemporal satellite data
- 🔎 Explainable AI — building models whose internal processes are transparent, not just accurate
- 🌿 Green Life Sciences — applying SSL to plant phenology and epidemiology at WUR
- 📈 Time Series Modeling — leveraging SSM (Mamba) and KAN architectures as Transformer alternatives
- 🎨 Video Understanding — colorization, temporal consistency, and self-supervised pretraining
