XCode 5.0

Install the latest XCode from App Store. This may take a while so make sure you don't start doing it directly before the course.

XCode simulator and command line tools

go to Xcode -> Preferences -> Downloads

download and install Command Line Tools
download and install an iOS 6.0 or 6.1 Simulator
