Project Description

A full-stack web application built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). This project provides user authentication, mental health assessments, and treatment tracking through an interactive web interface.

Installation & Setup

Prerequisites

Ensure you have the following installed:

• Node.js
• MongoDB

Backend Setup

cd backend
npm install

Run the backend server:

node index.js

Frontend Setup

cd faceend
npm install
npm run  dev

Backend

npm install express mongoose dotenv cors bcrypt jsonwebtoken

• express: Backend framework for handling routes and middleware.
• mongoose: ODM for MongoDB.
• dotenv: Manage environment variables.
• cors: Enable CORS for frontend-backend communication.
• bcrypt: Hash passwords for security.
• jsonwebtoken: Manage authentication using JWT.

Frontend

npm install react-router-dom axios @mui/material @emotion/react @emotion/styled

• react-router-dom: Routing for React applications.
• axios: Make HTTP requests to the backend.
• @mui/material, @emotion/react, @emotion/styled: UI components for styling and layout.
