Description

Adds the OpenSLR 32 dataset to the speech datasets reference list in list-of-datasets.md. This dataset provides high quality TTS (Text-to-Speech) data for four South African languages: Afrikaans, Sesotho, Setswana, and isiXhosa.

Issues Fixed

Changes

  • Added one row to the Speech table in list-of-datasets.md with the OpenSLR 32 dataset entry

Dataset Details

  • Source: OpenSLR 32
  • Languages: Afrikaans (af), Sesotho (st), Setswana (tn), isiXhosa (xh)
  • Type: High quality TTS data with transcriptions

Impact

This makes an important South African language TTS resource discoverable to the Masakhane community, supporting speech synthesis research for under-represented languages.
