I think we need to be a bit careful what we call a (Foundation) WG regarding the formalities involved and unfortunately slow feedback from the GB for now.

What would you change exactly? it does not state anywhere it is a Foundation working group...

I could add a disclaimer to the description for example?

Also in the ihitial post I prepared i do state explicitly that we are not yet a formal Foundation WG.

Right. I think the terms "WG" and "Working Group" have a risk of being confusing when they are also the name of official groups hosted by/associated with the Foundation Governing Board. It is unfortunate that the GB hasn't yet accepted this WG despite general approval of the idea or we wouldn't have this situation. We avoided the same issue of a group being proposed but not officially accepted in https://matrix.org/blog/2025/10/dinum/#matrix-for-public-sector by the wording

Matrix for Public Sector forum. [...] The group will be proposed to the Governing Board for approval to potentially become an official Working Group.

Despite your plans to point out the current status of the proposal in your submission, I am hesitant to merge the wording as-is because if either of us forgets the disclaimer next time, it will then accidentally claim to be a WG. Hence my solution would be to not merge until then, which puts the burden on the editors tor take care of the description, or not have a description until then, or reword the description to include the disclaimer ("proposed Working Group" or similar) and remove it after approval.

@HarHarLinks I changed the wording to "Community Group" now and state that we aim to become a working group.
